Searchwarp
Finding somewhere to write and post your work on the internet isn’t difficult, but finding somewhere you feel comfortable doing so, is a much greater challenge. There are many writing and writers’ websites and forums around the World Wide Web and many welcome your words and postings, but discovering a website that welcomes all standards of writing without being in any way patronising is tough.
Before I stumbled across searchwarp, I had tried posting at different article writing sites and poetry forums and whilst not having any particularly terrible experiences, (excluding a site that lost everyone’s content when the servers went down!) I never felt totally comfortable as a writer at the beginning of a journey into words.
Most, if not all writers want their work to be seen and read and searchwarp provides that very opportunity. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or experienced writer, you can post your articles to searchwarp and likely find a readership.
SearchWarp describes itself as a “writers’ community” and if you become a regular writer at the site it is very likely you will make at least some friends along the way. The site is very well run, with a polite and courteous spirit throughout. Unlike many other writing sites, it is also relatively free of spam and junk, allowing you both a pleasant reading and writing experience.
Within reason, (there are a set of guidelines at the site) you can pretty much write whatever you wish and many articles at the site receive comment and debate. Google also rates the site highly and articles frequently receive search engine referrals.
SearchWarp is a very good place to begin or continue your internet writing career and after posting more than 250 articles and becoming a featured columnist there, I can heartily recommend it.
