Hush now, do you hear?
High among green oaks
melodies on tip toes
reverie of notes.

Swaying, whispering canopy
conceals her from the world
A complicated masterpiece
yet to be unfurled.

Boughs gossip of perfection
as nature doeth embrace
Candy clouds are jostling
for glimpses of her face.

Hush now, do you hear?
Soliloquy on high
silent song of the dicky bird
sung for you and I.
